Martina joined ECES in 2015. Previously, she served as research assistant for International IDEA. In this role she contributed to “International Obligations for Elections: Guidelines for Legal Frameworks” as well as to several researches on accountability in service delivery within the framework of the post 2015 development agenda. Martina also worked for the NEEDS Project, the International IDEA West Africa Office, the research center ULB-CEVIPOL and the European Parliament.

 

She has taken part in several international electoral observation missions organized by the European Union, the Carter Center and Democracy International. Martina also cooperated with the ACE Electoral Knowledge Network. Martina holds a BA in Political Science and a postgraduate degree in Development Studies. She is a semi-accredited BRIDGE facilitator.
